S’intitola ''Damage and Joy'' ed uscirà, come anticipato da Alan McGee, il 24 marzo 2017, il nuovo album dei Jesus And Mary Chain. Prodotto da Youth, e distribuito da Warner Music, il disco rompe un silenzio discografico durato 18 anni per i fratelli Reid: l’ultima prova era stata ''Munki''.
Recentemente, Jim Reid aveva descritto il sound dell’attuale formazione come «molto più maturo», mentre lo storico fondatore di Creation Records si era lanciato in un «It’s kinda enormous».
