Tornano con 'The Doobie Brothers', album in cui reinterpretano le loro hit duettando con i grandi del country

I Doobie Brothers interpretano e celebrano le loro hit di tutti i tempi con un tribute album, inciso per Arista Nashville, in cui duettano coi grandi del Country, tra cui Sara Evans, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Zac Brown Band. I Doobie Brothers sono un gruppo musicale nato negli anni settanta, da annoverare nel genere rock con componenti blues-funky, inizialmente formato nel 1969 da Tom Johnston, chitarrista ed autore dei testi, e da John Hartman, batterista, cui si sono affiancati mano a mano altri musicisti. Durante la loro carriera i Doobie Brothers hanno vinto un gran numero di Grammy Awards e dischi d´oro e di platino. Tra i loro successi ricordiamo ''What a Fool Believes'', ''Jesus Is Just Alright'', ''Black Water'', ''China Grove'', ''Listen to the Music'' e la celeberrima ''Long Train Runnin´'' (pure tradotta nel 1974 dalla cantante italiana Silvana Aliotta con il titolo ''Manie'').
