Rod Stewart pubblicherà “Soulbook” a novembre, una collection di classici soul anni sessanta e settanta, registrati dall´artista per la nostra generazione. Rod ha recentemente affermato che ha sempre amato gli artisti soul, che a 15 anni ascoltava Sam Cooke e Otis Redding, e che ha sempre desiderato cantare brani soul. Elton John parlando di Rod Stewart ha detto: “E´ il miglior artista di rock n´roll, ma è anche il più grande cantante soul bianco”, anche James Brown ha elogiato le sue doti dichiarando “E´il miglior artista soul bianco”. Nel nuovo disco ci sono due duetti spettacolari: con Mary J. Blige in “You Make Me Feel Brand New” e Jennifer Hudson in “Let It Be Me”.
