La band celebra trent'anni di carriera e ripubblica 'Hits Are For Squares' più un DVD

Ottime notizie per i fan dei Sonic Youth, che celebrano i trent'anni di carriera con delle nuove ristampe. Si parte con l'album-raccolta "Hits Are For Squares", finalmente disponibile anche in Italia a quattro anni dalla pubblicazione originale. La release propone quindici pezzi cult del repertorio della band newyorkese, selezionati da altrettanti artisti di fama mondiale. Inoltre, il disco include l'inedito "Slow Revolution". Oltre alla raccolta, il gruppo pubblica anche un documentario DVD, che - a vent'anni di distanza - porta sugli schermi le immagini del tour "1991: The Year Of Punk Broke".
