Il leader e fondatore Steve Harris è stato eletto miglior bassista del mondo

Circa una settimana fa Metal Hammer ha proposto un sondaggio: "Chi è il più grande bassista di tutti i tempi?". Il risultato è stato piuttosto inaspettato: non Jaco Pastorius od altri mostri della tecnica, bensì Steve Harris, bassista e fondatore degli Iron Maiden, in quanto "è un'icona, una testimonianza vivente del potere dell'ambizione, della determinazione e dell'umiltà. [...] È anche un incredibile compositore.". La top ten ha in serbo altri colpi di scena:
